Austin Film Festival – Deadline: July 14, 2010

The Austin Film Festival is dedicated to furthering the art, craft, and business of screenwriting and filmmaking by providing unique, year-round cultural events and services, enhancing public awareness and participation, and encouraging dynamic and long-lasting community partnerships.

The festival boasts an outstanding program of narrative, animation, and documentary features and shorts, including premieres, advanced screenings, and independent films. Film screenings are complemented by lively and informative Q&A sessions with cast members and filmmakers.

The festival is currently accepting film submissions in the following categories: narrative features, shorts, and student shorts; animated shorts; and documentary features and shorts. Dramatic and comedic screenplays are also being accepted, as well as teleplays in the categories of sitcom and drama.
